Within the region of Guangdong province, is my birth place, and the origin of gongfu tea. The tradition of 功夫茶, gongfu cha, has been a practice dating  back to the Song dynasty.

Growing up with tea, this practice and philosophy has stayed with me. The farther I am from home, the more I find comfort in reconnecting to simplicity, to a feeling that predates a description with words.

 Teaphile is a global community that continues to expand by sharing artisan loose leaf tea grown and harvested from small family-owned farms in China. Our teas are free of pesticides and chemicals. They are made with care in small batches.

Together we strive to incorporate the lessons tea has to teach us,

one leaf at a time.
